Philipson Kamara outlines achievement
The Northern Regional Chairman of the All Peoples Congress Party (APC), Honourable Philipson Kamara, has over the weekend revealed that as the Chairman of APC and a Member of Parliament for constituency 47 in the Koinadugu District, he has successfully put up hosts of developmental projects within and around Koinadugu District.
Philipson Kamara pointed out that he inherited serious tribulations which he said ranges from Education, Health, infrastructure and other social amenities.
“As representative of people of Kasonko Chiefdom in Parliament, I have enjoyed their selflessness and loyalty owing positive initiatives (the electorates and I) in the enhancement of developments, in line with President Koroma’s Agenda for Change”.
The Honourable furthered that he has succeeded in refurbishing and resuscitating Primary and junior Secondary Schools within Kasonko Chiefdom, and has encouraged parents and guardians to send their children /ward to school.
He said that he has put together a competent and viable Community Teachers Association that will help settle the dire needs of senior secondary school pupils.
He also revealed that he has intensified his campaign with the Ministry of Education and other stakeholders to see that education is brought to his people.
Honourable Phillipson Kamara has served as a Minister under late Siaka Probyn Stevens and Joseph Saidu Momoh respectively.
It is told also that he has constructed water wells/bore holes within the various communities in Kasonko Chiefdom and has rehabilitated key feeder roads, doled out scholarships to deserving children at primary and secondary schools.
It is noteworthy though that Philipson Kamara is one of APC’s longest serving members of Parliament and has contributed tremendously to the successes of his party.
