Thousands flock to CBF ‘Talent: ID 2011’ events across Salone!
The recently launched ‘Talent: ID 2011’ programme of events being run by the Craig Bellamy Foundation are proving to be a big hit across Sierra Leone.
Already over 2,000 players have participated in the programme which the Craig Bellamy Foundation hopes will help them to unearth the next generation of top sporting talent.
Open to boys born in the year 2000, the expert scouts from the Bellamy Academy have conducted 10 events thus far, and have selected 24 boys who will advance to the Final Trial, to be held in Freetown once all of the Regional ‘Talent: ID’ events have been completed.
The Craig Bellamy Foundation are encouraging all players born in the year 2000 who believe they have what it takes to play football at the top level to ensure that they attend one of the 14 remaining ‘Talent: ID’ events being held across the country.
If selected at one of the regional events, the fortunate players will progress to the National Final, where they will compete with 100 other boys from across Sierra Leone to win one of the coveted 16 places available at the Academy for their 2nd Generation team.
