Bad governance, bad politicians!

The unresolved hardship in society (Sierra Leone) has urged suggestion for medical check up of brains of bad politicians.

Forums of deliberations question the serialized failures of persons appointed to steer the ship of state.

That persons elected to offices of trust, on a number of occasions, go against the wishes of the electorates.

Just three/four years ago, the Sierra Leone Peoples Party (SLPP) was forced to take exit owing to uncalled for failures during its era of state governance.

Then came the ruling APC in 2007. In three months of governance, prices of basic commodities were observed flying far above expectation.

To this, came excuses that the hike in the prices of rice, cooking ingredients, and locally produced items including fuel oil was due to the global surge.

No one, not even members of the opposition SLPP attempts going against reasons put forward by the ruling APC.

But things take another turn when later it was observed that other countries have long reached at strategies suppressing the acclaimed global surge thus lowering the prices of market commodities and fuel to meet the citizens expectation and reflect national standards.

Notwithstanding the economic successes of other African countries, Sierra Leone still plunges into untold, uncalled for, and unexplained hardship (under the guise of global surge), allowing prices of basic commodities and fuel oil to trek up unchecked.

Almost 80% of homes in Freetown cater for a meal a day instead of the usual 3 meals a day.

It is an observable fact that a good number of Sierra Leoneans use the word ‘global’ in place of hardship.

They do so to reflect government’s frequently used word ‘global’ to fool Sierra Leoneans that the hardship is world’s problem.

Notwithstanding sufferings imposed by government against the electorates, youths and street hustlers have asked Sierra Leone’s only psychiatric consultant, Dr. Nahim, to check the brains of politicians to ascertain whether the country’s underdevelopment is due to frail and unaccepted wisdom of politicians, or corruption.

No uncertainty having Dr. Nahim do such a job. Time past, he was and still is the medical psychiatrist that mends unbalanced brains of Sierra Leoneans at the Kissy Mental Home hospital.

So, and for the sake of Sierra Leone, it is sure he will do the work free of charge; check the brains of politicians and tell us what’s wrong.

Just take a watch at pictographic display of Dr. Nahim as shown in cartoon.

See him put rotten heads of politicians into an electric scanner to readily identify and mend the corrupt, selfish and greedy parts of their brains. (Click image to view)
