SWASAL sympathizes the death of Akie Noah

The Executive and General Membership of the Sports Writers Association of Sierra Leone (SWASAL) wish to extend our deepest condolences to the bereaved family, relatives and friends of the late Akie Noah who had his sudden home call in Freetown on Sunday 29th May 2011 aged 54 years.

The late Akie Noah was a former Ports Authority FC and Leone Stars player and Coach of the national U-17 male football team, Sierra Stars. He also served as Technical Director of Ports Authority FC.

SWASAL urges all its members to attend the Funeral of the late Akie Noah first by witnessing the laying out at the Atlantic Hall of the National Stadium at 10am Friday 3rd June 2011, the Funeral Prayers at the Masjid Jam-ul Salam (Fullah Town Mosque) at Mountain Cut at 4pm and the procession for interment at the Eku Mohammad Cemetery at Kennedy Street.

As we lament the loss of this great Soccer Hero, we pray for another comforter for the wife and children and the immediate relatives and friends.

May Allah in His great mercies grant him eternal rest and may light perceptually shine on him.
