CSI Donates to Connaught Hospital
As a way to platefully provide support for the under privileged, the Cultural Sports Integration (CSI), a charitable organization in London in collaboration with the Sierra Leone Youth Advocate Program, Wednesday 25 May, donated used items to the under privileged and newly born babies of Ward I at the Connaught Hospital in Freetown.
The donated Items included children’s’ footwear, used clothes, boots, shoes, and socks.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Director of the CSI Darren Watson said his organization focuses on the needy and vulnerable people of society.
He said his organization’s recognition of Sierra Leone as a beneficiary came due to findings that there are lots more helpless children who want support, but do not get it at all.
Lawal Alhadi reiterated CSI’s commitments to supporting vulnerable children time and again.
The mother of one of the beneficiaries, Adama Jalloh thanked the members of CSI for their good gesture and called on similar organizations to emulate such.
