We’re not a one man team… Novakovic
AIK’s head coach Nebojsa Novakovic has been furious about reports that his side rely on Sierra Leonean striker Mohamed Bangura if they are to regain the form that saw the Stockholm club won the Allsvenkan two seasons ago.
In recent weeks their pre-season is been good until they stated facing defeat, AIK lost to Orebro 3-1 and Kalmar 3nil and Nebojsa Novakovic shows dissatisfaction.
The AIK’s Coach pointed out that he knows equally as their fans that Mohamed Bangura is a very important player but we will not stand or fall with him when the season starts.
Soccer pundits are of the opinion everything in the way AIK plays resolve around the Sierra Leonean star and in a game he will have three or more chances to score.
However, Novakovic has reiterated that Bangura is very important player for the team and they will continue to play through him. But our opponents should not think that if is out of a game they win against us.
“AIK will not be a dependent on Bangura as last season,” he said.
