Sierra Leone duo in Turkey
Former Swedish Champions AIK departed Sweden yesterday for a week long training camp in Antalya, Turkey, in preparation for their Allsvenkan season, where training and matches on the natural grass is on the program. The full squad includes their new acquisition Ibrahim Tetteh Bangura and their last season top goal scorer Mohamed Bangura both Sierra Leoneans making the list of the AIK’s A-team. Gabriel Özkan and Niklas Backman, both are out, Backman is reportedly injured against Orebro last Saturday pre-season raining.
Bangura and Tetteh are also being named in Sierra Leone Swedish Coach Olaf Mattsson 21-professional players for the Sierra Leone encounter in the ongoing Afcon qualifier this month in Niamey taking on Niger.
