Diana Denies Snubbing VP & First Lady … admits President’s fear in not keeping to promises for the Konos
Diana Konomanyi yesterday debunked press claims that she disrespectfully excluded the names of Sierra Leone’s First Lady and Vice President in the list of persons invited for her ‘soon to come’ inaugural ceremony but admits that the postponements of her inaugural ceremony have had the blessings of President Koroma, who for uncountable reasons, vowed not to step foot on soils of Kono if the construction of roads leading to the district are not kick started.
It is a fact though that Diana’s ‘soon to come’ inauguration as Kono District Council Chairman has been programmed for 19th March 2011.
In an interview with this press, Diana said that the selection of names of invitees for the coming ceremony is practically the responsibility of the Local Government Minister and not her.
She damned allegations linking her to have willfully omitted or excluded the names of Vice President Sam Sumana and First Lady Sia Koroma in list persons invited for her (Diana’s) inaugural ceremony woeful lies.
It is fact that serialized postponements of Diana’s inaugural ceremony hinges around APC’s failure in keeping to promises made to indigenes of Kono District, so to say, the construction of roads, supply of electricity, water etc.
Facts say that 19th March was acknowledged for Diana’s inaugural ceremony owing to recent ‘step up’ of the construction of roads in Kono- a strategy that will cover up failing promises of the President to the people of Kono.
Credible information reveals that Diana, Vice President Sam Sumana and Sierra Leone’s First Lady, Mrs. Sia Koroma, are three strange bed fellows.
Even though Diana has claimed to be a relative of the Vice President and First Lady, it disclosed that there is bewilderment between the three.
