Plot – JOB … SLPP bigwigs to clinch ministerial positions

Sources say President Koroma has plans of appointing big name politicians of the SLPP as Cabinet Ministers.

Although the exact names of persons to be appointed are yet to be disclosed, it is thought that some of SLPP erstwhile Ministers form part of those specially selected.

It is thought that President Koroma’s intentions of appointing five top SLPP members as Ministers of State came owing to increased political divides observed in the SLPP over the weeks.

It has reached the desk of this press that some secret agents in the SLPP have had wind of President Koroma’s hoodwinking intentions, but kept sealed lips and are fully in support of such.

Findings say the Presidency is busily positioning strategies to possibly actualize his political ambition come 2012.

It is confirmed that the ‘game plan’ to handicap the opposition Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) has apparently begun.

Shades of thought perceived recent court action against the SLPP as a manipulation to forestall the opposition SLPP scheduled flag bearer race.

Sources say the appointment of J B Dauda and Borbor Sawyer APC Ministers, is a glaring indication that the SLPP is on its path to wreckage.

It must be noted also that Mr. John Benjamin, shortly after the spontaneous appointment of the forenamed SLPP politicians as APC Ministers, together with other executive members, agreed that subsequent appointments of such nature must first have the blessing of their party (SLPP); an action factions of the SLPP are opposed to.

That in a bid to forestalling growing developments in the opposition SLPP party, secret meetings are held at unknown locations to map out strategies that will see Chairman John O. Benjamin out of office to enable paid up members (insiders) regulate things to the favour of the ruling APC party.

Unconfirmed information states that the likes of Ambassador Joe Blell, Allie Bangura, Prince Harding, Lansana Fadika et al are on President Koroma’s list for Ministerial appointments.

A senior citizen who asked for his name not to be mentioned moaned about the ugly development and said: “APC is up to its tagged pattern of political devices.”

“We will not tolerate any one party system in Sierra Leone anymore,” he said

Others say it is APC’s intention to have a flexible SLPP executive that will be remote controlled at will.
