Diana Konomanyi Disgraced In Kono

Thousands of angry Kono youths were observed showering invectives at their elected would be Chairman of Kono District Council; also referring same to her mother.
Eyewitnesses account describes Diana’s public encounter as having the attributes of a ‘political nightmare;’ they who voted her criticized her.
The incident, according to our Kono correspondent, sparked off protest owing to a publication broadcast by one of the community radios in Koidu Town Kono District by Diana.
That Diana submitted a list which bear the names of persons she intends to invite at her up and approaching inaugural ceremony for public broadcast by a radio station, but failed to include the names of Vice President Alhaji Samuel Sam Sumana, Sierra Leone’s First Lady Madam Sia Nyama Koroma and hosts of stakeholders including the Ministers of State in the office of the VP, Hon. Logus Koroma.
A Councilor by the name of Tamba Kaigbanja is said to have raised concern after discerning that names of prominent personalities have been left out in the published list of invitees.
Such, we are told, ignited minds of angry Kono youths, who see the action of Diana as disrespect for elders of Kono and Sierra Leone generally.
Hundreds of disgruntled Kono youths later took to the streets of Koidu town in protest of Diana’s broadcasted names of persons invited at the coming inaugural ceremony.
It is reported also that the youths were observed chanting slogans that are undignified of Diana’s woeful and disrespectful conduct to senior state officials.
The youths were reportedly lavishing invectives against their elected member of Parliament Hon. Diana Konomanyi.
One George Pessima, who doubles as secretary to the Cabinet, Lansana Musa and others have been accused as instigators of the protest against Dianna.
