Hossam resigns from referee committee
Mohamed Hossam, President of Egyptian Referees Committee (in photo) has resigned from his position.
Egyptian Football Association has announced that the (EFA) President Samir Zaher accepted the resignation of referees’ committee head Mohamed Hossam.
This was agreed after referees’ protests about his attitude. Essam Seyam has been elected as caretaker to lead referees until they elect new president.
“I was leading the committee as a volunteer, as well as suffering more problems during my work, so I am happy that I finally can rest.” Mohamed Hossam is quoted as saying in Ahram.
