Muntari desperate – wants new start

Former Portsmouth midfielder, Ghana international Sulley Muntari is ready to give his best to his country by handing a transfer request to the Italian Champions Inter Milan on the basis for regular play.

Inter technical director Marco Branca has confirmed Muntari has asked the club to leave this January.

Newly appointed Goran Stevanovic has set his eyes on Ghanaian players that are regular for their clubs and it obvious that Muntari is also eyeing regular play to impress the Serbian.

26-years-old Muntari is ready for a new challenge and many interested clubs across Europe are already seeking to secure the player’s service before the transfer window closes.

Muntari who has struggled to hold down a regular place in the Inter side this season is now wanted by Sunderland boss Steve Bruce. Bruce is hoping to bring Sulley Muntari and Stephane Sessegnon to the Stadium of Light on loan this month.
