President Koroma went on to state that during the presidential and parliamentary election of 2007 when he was elected as president by the citizens of the Republic of Sierra Leone, the people gave him a mandate to see what he can do to make his beloved country a better place, and since that mandate was given to him, he introduced the ‘Agenda for Change.’ In his Agenda for Change initiative, his government has all the developmental activities that can give Sierra Leone a new face in terms of development.
President Koroma (in photo) went on to say that road projects in Kenema will soon kick off and street lights will be given to the people of Kenema. He also maintained that, the road project from Kemena to Pendu and Koindu will also be looked into as this project will soon be launched.

The development of the country lies in the hands of all Sierra Leoneans, we all must work hand in hand to develop our beautiful country, Sierra Leone, the president stated.
He encouraged all Sierra Leoneans to pay their taxes as it is very important for country development, most of the road projects are funded by the government through the money collected by tax payers.

The Ministers committed to working with President Koroma to achieve his goal in the Agenda for Change, and they appealed to the people of the south-eastern province to give in return the same support President Koroma has given them by casting their vote in the 2012 national election.
Hon. J B Dauda further assured President Koroma that there will be no run off come 2012 and he said that the people of Kemena will give President Koroma the necessary support he needs as it’s about time Sierra Leone put the country first ahead of politics.
