149 Sierra Leone pilgrims arrive in Libya
A batch of 149 Sierra Leonean pilgrims arrived safely at the Tripoli International Airport, Libya on board an Arab Libyan airline at 10:57 A.M (Libya local time) on Thursday, 2nd December, 2010.
The Pilgrims were warmly received on arrival by Sierra Leone’s Ambassador to Libya, H.E Alhaji Abu Bakarr A W. Jalloh, spouse of the Ambassador Haji Madinatu Jalloh. Mr. Momodu A Wurie Head of Chancery, Fatima Barrie Trade commissioner. Chief Alieu B. Mucktarru Kallay Cultural Attaché and other embassy officials.
The Sierra Leone Embassy in Libya is making all necessary arrangements for their safe trip back home.
The Pilgrims are expected to arrive at the Lungi international airport at about 20:30 GMT.( 8:30 P.M Freetown local time ).
