Sierra Leoneans in Germany Organise Fund Raising Festival

Secretary General, Alpha Kamara, said the fund raising festival is a direct response to the several needs of children and other war affected persons in Sierra Leone.
“It is a yearly programme and we have decided to improve the lives of people in Sierra Leone, especially, children and other war affected people,” Mr Kamara said.
The Sierra Leone-Net Bayern Union according to Alpha, is also planning to undertake other projects that would promote the country’s socio-economic development.
“It is high time we started putting all hands on deck to develop our country,” he noted
While urging Sierra Leoneans to take issues of national importance seriously, Alpha called for the participation of all to what he called, “ rebuilding our nation.” .
He disclosed that his union would seize the opportunity to influence potential investors who will be attending the festival.
“We have been in contact with German investors who are interested in helping Africa in a diverse ways. So we thought it fit to organise this particular event in order to sway the attention of those investors and philanthropist,” he said.
