Jarrett’s Lincoln second from bottom
Steve Tilson experienced defeat for the first time as Lincoln City manager as the Imps lost 2-0 to Northampton Town on Tuesday night. The result means Tilson’s side dropped into the relegation zone in League Two – a point behind in-form Hereford United in 22nd place. (Photo: Albert Jarrett)
Boss Steve Tilson insists Lincoln must improve at both ends of the pitch following the 2-0 home defeat to Northampton.
Tuesday night’s League Two result at Sincil Bank leaves Tilson still looking for his first win since taking over as manager, but he acknowledges that things are going to take time to get better.
Sierra Leonean Imps winger Albert Jarrett was also disappointed after seeing his side in four straight games yet to win a league two encounter.
Regardless of few players on loan, Arsenal and England Under-20 full-back Gavin Hoyte has joined on a month-long deal despite seemingly being on the fringes of the Gunners first-team squad after Kieran Gibbs suffered an injury last week.
Also Gillingham centre-half Josh Gowling has also signed a one-month deal and Millwall striker Ashley Grimes has joined until December 4. Notting seems working for the Imps at the moment. They are second from bottom not a good sign for the new manager Steve Tilson.
