Zaingallay’s Honefoss punish
Two Sierra Leoneans collided last Sunday in the Nowegian Tippeligaen division, Leone Stars Alfred Sankoh’s new side Stromsgodset continued to add misery to fellow Sierra Leoenean Umaru Zaingallya Bangura’s Honefoss BK side. Six minutes into the opening of the game Kamara got the ball about 20 yards, but he failed to put the ball in the goal. Hønefoss hung well with the long notes, and the visiting team played their way to a fat scoring opportunity after 12 minutes. Olsen played a lovely ball through to Angan, but Larsen Kwarasey reacted quickly and his attempt was stopped by Angan.
A minute later Jóhannsson the home side should have taken the lead, but miraculously he managed to put the ball aside for a goal from about five meters. There were many great chances in the opening, and after 19 minutes Johansen had a chance alone with the keeper Solvoll, but ended up right in the end clips of the latter.
After just over 25 minutes of play Kamara failed to hit the ball on two occasions, but eventually he handled the ball on to Jóhannsson who kicked the ball into the goal. Only minutes later, Kamara got another chance on a relatively blank box, but again, the conclusion of the weak variety.
Shortly after Kamara was once again the center of attention when Vilsvik had turned an accurate ball to hit the post, a rebound ball for Kamara this time, Kamara headed the ball, but unfortunately, he did not mange to get it in the goal.
Five minutes into the second half was finally paid off goods, and for a goal it was. Johansson picked up the ball inside the box and from the angle he knocked the ball into the intersection. Three minutes later the same man was on the move again, and left on for 3-0 after a fine break by the home team.
Quarters into the round Hønefoss substituted Jensen. He was played through by Bangura, and alone with the keeper, he set the ball down into the icy corner.
Mountain showed his immense qualities as he opened up the whole Hønefoss defense with a beautiful pass to Kamara, who completed the attack with a great ending of Solvoll. Now it remains only two league games before the Oslo should be stained blue in the cup final.
