Patrick Mork was in Freetown to watch Sierra Leone’s significant second encounter for the 2012 AFCON Qualifiers in Group G.
According to Mork he enjoyed his time in Sierra Leone, being part of this history of a football contest will not be forgotten so easily.
“I enjoyed my time in Freetown watching Sierra Leone and South Africa, it was a great game of football, it a great privileged to witness it, both teams play a very good game, Sierra Leone have shown they have a lots of young talented players that can grow to be world class players,” he said.
“Bafana Bafana was not at their best I would say, but they keep up with their defensive system very well, Sierra Leone was all over them for the most part of the encounter, They drew 0-0 against Sierra Leone in a tough away tie in Freetown, and I guess every Sierra Leonean fan in the stadium on that day must have enjoyed every bit, the only thing that spoiled the party was that there was no goal for the home side,” he lamented.
Mork is the agent for both Mohamed Poboshy Bangura and Ibrahim Tetteh Bangura; both players will be playing their trade next year in AIK Solna in the Swedish Allsvenkan division.
