President Koroma Congratulates Saudi Arabia

In his message to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud, His Excellency, Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma wrote: “As your Majesty’s Government and People celebrate yet another anniversary of your country’s National day, I wish to convey on behalf of the Government and People of the Republic of Sierra Leone and on my own behalf warmest congratulations.”
The President further lauded the strong ties between his country and the Kingdom: “I have no doubt that the long standing relationship and cooperation existing between our two Governments and Peoples will be further strengthened in the years that lie ahead.”
It would be recalled that the bilateral relationship between Sierra Leone and Saudi Arabia has always been cordial and unique in terms of cultural, political, economic and financial corporations.
Celebrated on the 23rd of September each year, the National Day in Saudi Arabia represents the identity of the nation and is greatly associated with the unification of the country by the late King Abdul Aziz Bin Abdul Rahman al-Faisal al-Saud in the year1932.
