Yabom wins the Presidency of APC Washington, DC Metropolitan Chapter
Without a doubt, the indomitable, soft spoken, humble and open hearted Yabom Thaslim Sesay-Korom (in photo) has won the presidency of the largest APC chapter of the APC Washington, DC Metropolitan chapter in North America. Her campaign team including Mohamed Fornah (Alias Pa Yamba Lawyer), former APC national Chairman, Osman Conteh, Alias Solo organizing secretary a former PMDC member and now a fully fledged APC member and a host of die-hard APC supporters showed their unflinching support for Yabom Thaslim Sesay-Koroma to win this enviable position.
Yabom Thaslim Sesay-Koroma displayed her charismatic and political ingenuity during the conduct of the elections. She drew a record crowd of supporters and observers to the extent that even those who are entrenched with obligations in a country that demands much from us immigrants to meet our daily responsibilities waited at the dying minutes to vote for her.
The election hall at Nu-Horizon in Silver Spring, Maryland was packed with APC supporters which is a manifestation of the support and love they have for His Excellency President Ernest Koroma for his effort to move Sierra Leone from the doldrums to a nation of pride. Indeed, there are no losers in this September 12, 2010 in the Washington, DC elections because we are all winners for the sake of the APC party and posterity.
Yabom urges all peace loving and APC supporters in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Chapter and the entire national body of the APC party in North America and the world over to unite and work for the success of our beloved President Ernest Bai Koroma as he strives to bring development socially and economically in our beloved country Sierra Leone.
