Post-election syndrome in 2012

Post-election syndrome in 2012

As APC ‘power house’ flies high and beyond …all SLPP flag bearers must watch out for stress, pressure and nervous tensions come 2012!

Nervous tension, pressure, and stress can literally be a killer for some of these SLPP flag bearers and supporters come 2012. Our political pundits believe that, to be more mentally strained and traumatized after President Ernest Bai Koroma is sworn in for the second time, will be very devastating for them. All these SLPP flag bearers and acclaimed political self-centered in their party, will be at the point wherein they will be tearing down their hair, jumping up and down in search for solutions but it will be too late. Comrades, nervous tension or stress can be more discreet and insidious especially when you lose a political fight with the APC, and this shockwave can manifest itself in subtle behaviors even when your political ambition might appear relatively stable. Remember this, when you ignore nervous tension, the results can be fatal, leading to all manner of physical or mental illnesses. These symptoms can include chest pains, headaches, neck/shoulder pain, stomach problems, and panic attacks. Don’t compete with the APC, you will lose it all. (Photo: Fmr. VP Solo’s headaches)

The APC government is the political bedrock of peace and economic development in our country. To all the SLPP aspirants, please don’t say I did not warn you. The year 2012, is the year of stress for SLPP mavericks. Painstakingly, stress is basically the body’s signaling system for losers to realize that they are doing something to experience too much physical, mental or emotional pressure as failures. The first of these levels if I may emphasize, is the physical strength this body can endure and which it can be fairly easy to detect when the time comes. If we are not getting the right work/life balance as successful politician or we are mixing our political activities with too much midweek partying, our bodies will eventually react denoting the need for more rest and less stress!

Let me admonish and warn you all again – John O. Benjamin and partners; come 2012, your stresses at your mental levels when the time comes, can also be relatively easy to detect immediately the “Power House” comes back in governance for the second term. Again, some of these SLPP mavericks will start experiencing mental trauma or nervous tension at work even before the election results are read for the fear that their political career is slipping away. So, if your political work load Mr. John O. Benjamin is balanced and is fairly stable, then you don’t have to work too many deadlines and expectations to win come 2012. This is emotional stress, is just as relevant and prevalent as the other two types headaches. The reasons for experiencing emotional stress after the 2012 elections are usually borne out of a sense of lack. This could be a lack of self-worth, lack of connectedness to your political party or your supporters, lack of connotation, lack of confidence in your leadership, lack of fulfillment or indeed lack of love in your relationship. So, please be warned and let APC ride high.

If you feel empty inside as many of you do, please go through the daily motions, pick the phone and call the APC office and go join the great party of progress. In your quiet moments you may try to distract yourself by surfing the net, sending emails, planning your social calendar or going shopping – it will not work. Our Hon. Victor Foh, will help you get out of the empty crowded feelings that just won’t go away. Again, don’t worry, none of this means you are going mad! It simply means that your heart wants you to do something else, something that will bring you more of your political fulfillments. Ever heard the expression that “my heart’s not in it”? There is more weight in this phrase than you could possibly realize. APC is the only way out.

If you SLPP political mavericks can commend President Koroma’s current approval rates, you will be proud of his leadership acumen and shrewdness. I know for sure that, some SLPP flag bearers and aspirants are currently experiencing emotional stress at this moment. The Koroma administration is doing just fine. I don’t care what others may feel or antithetical about President Koroma’s leadership; this is man is great. Although these SLPP members will be relieving their political nervous tension, all it lies in listening to their heart and finding out what it really wants from life. It could want something radically different from what they are doing and the thought of staying as an SLPP supporter may scare the hell out of them. However, if they succumb to the fears and ignore the wishes of their hearts, they will be giving a license to the stress to get worse. We may need a team of Medical Doctors after 2012 elections.

If you are an SLPP political maverick, or a loser in 2012 general elections, please do not ignore the nervousness warnings, as it takes something more serious to get the change of this situation. Do yourself a favor and accept what your political anguish, agony and misery are trying to tell you; act accordingly. Stay as a loser and stay permanently lost to reduce your nervous tension when the “Power House” is back in governance 2012 to 2017. BRAVO! AND LONG LIVE APC PARTY

  • You celebrate only after winning a fight. Stress and nervousness should be the watch words for President Ernest Bai Koroma and not the multitude of SLPP flag bearers. If you think the APC is currently flying high, wait until end of 2011 to see how low the Kurubga wings will nosedive at a vertical angle. Keep on day dreaming!
