Broadway Theatre London hosts Salone’s ‘Fake Identity’
Next weekend, September 12th, the Broadway Theatre, in Catford, London will be set ablaze with a star-studded Sierra Leonean movie.
Titled ‘Fake Identity’, the movie featuring some of Sierra Leone’s finest film stars, is now the subject of serious discussion within the Sierra Leone community in the United Kingdom and this has attracted the interest of fellow Africans and Europeans alike.
Assistant Producer and movie Coordinator Ethel Kanu (in photo) said the movie is an explosion and it is bound to be a major successful hit.
“This is a must-watch movie – highly sensational and educative with outstanding and very experienced and talented artists. We want to prove to the world what we are capable of doing in the film industry,” said Ethel.
Ethel said they had already held fruitful discussions with members of the Sierra Leone High Commission about the movie and the encouragement they got from them was encouraging.
“It is an opportunity for us to prove to the world that we as Sierra Leoneans are capable of doing what other nationalities do,” she said.
Kanu said her group had been working on the movie since 2008 and was confident that they will produce a very impressive show that would be appreciated by everyone.
The date is Sunday 12th September 2010 and tickets are already out on sale.
Fake Identify was first successfully premiered in Sierra Leone.
