My loyalty to President Koroma’s cause is unshakable – Sudan
Publisher of SIERRA Update news magazine states his loyalty to the cause of President Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma is unshakable and that nothing will frustrate his efforts and determination to continue with the good work he has started.
Sorie Sudan Sesay (in photo) also warned against what he refers to as ‘wicked lies’ against him and denies supporting any group in the current brouhaha within the UK Branch of the All People’s Congress (APC), according to a personal press statement released last night from his official website – www.sierraupdate.co.uk
Full content of the statement reads…
“This is to inform the general public that contrary to speculation, I want to make it categorically clear that I am NOT party to, and will NEVER be a party to any group of people as far as the current brouhaha within the All People’s Congress (APC) UK Branch is concerned.
Over the past couple of days, I have concrete information that some people (who perhaps have bones to pick with me), are spreading wicked LIES about me regarding my association with a particular group.
This is completely UNTRUE and I consider this to be a deliberate attempt by these wicked and treacherous people to tarnish my hard-earned reputation in a bid to sow seeds of discord against me within some members of the Sierra Leonean community.
Since I assumed duties here in the United Kingdom, I have always maintained an open door policy by not only to limiting my duties to activities of the Sierra Leone High Commission, but also those relating to Sierra Leoneans for which I am proud to say that I have NEVER received a dime for those personal works.
It is therefore unreasonable and feeble-mindedness on the part of those people who want to misconstrue my association with certain people or group of people to paint me badly.
I am a professional in my own right who has NEVER been and will NEVER be misused as a stooge or a puppet by anybody.
I want it to be known that my duty here is to serve the President and government of Sierra Leone and that my loyalty to the cause of the President is unshakable and such childish games can NEVER deter my efforts and determination to continue with the good works I have started.
I strongly believe that the current brouhaha within the All People’s Congress (APC) UK Branch must be treated as an internal conflict that demands an urgent solution, especially with the General elections in Sierra Leone just a few months away.
We may have our differences, but we must not allow those differences to tear up apart, that will eventually give arms and ammunition to our opponents.”
