This young beautiful lady, Joecelia Gbondo, is flying Sierra Leone’s flag at the on-going Project Fame-West Africa Season 3 in Nigeria and she needs your support.

On Day One, Joecilia sang Tony Braxton’s ‘Breathe Again’ to encouraging comments from both the Judges and the Faculty. (Photo: Joecelia is representing S.Leone at the Project Fame WA 2010)

The Faculty said they loved the ease with which she delivered the song while the Judges said: “Well done”.

At the end of Day One, when they lined up on stage for their verdict, the Judges said to Joecilia and two others: “You have great potential…” And, with the support of the audience, the ladies were asked to stay in the Academy.

The Project Fame –West Africa is an annual event that searches and exposes talents in the West African region.

Born in the 80’s Joecelia was inspired into singing by Madonna and Rihanna, but she actually nurtured her talent in her church choir. She studied music in secondary school and her passion led her to win many prizes during inter school music competitions.

Her breakthrough came in 2007-2008 when she emerged the star in the Make Me A Star competition organised by the contemporary godfather of Sierra Leone music, Jimmy B.

“The whole of Sierra Leone is looking up to me and I will not let them down,” says Joecelia.

Meanwhile, to save Joecelia send 7 to 306 in Sierra Leone(Comium and other networks) , Nigeria and Liberia and 1738 in Ghana from MTN line.
