Le 10 million bail for businesswoman

The accused who resides at Biloh Drive off Aberdeen Road was brought before Magistrate Bankole Shyllon of Freetown Court No. 3 on two count charge of threatening to publish libel with intent and forcefully demanding the sum of $100,000 from the complainant, John Bonoh Sisay.
The incident took place on the 19th June 2010.
The complainant, John Bonoh Sisay who is Managing Director of the Sierra Rutile Mining Company, on Tuesday 27th July 2010 told the court that he knew the accused for about seven years as they were having an on-and-off relationship.
He said surprisingly on the 19th of June he was at his residence when he received a brown envelope from his younger brother given to him by an unknown taxi driver containing a naked photo of him whilst he was sleeping. He immediately reported the matter to the police.
The accused was however granted bail in the sum of Le 10 million plus two sureties and the matter adjourned to the 2nd of August. In addition, the accused was ordered to report at the Lumley Police Station on every Saturday between the hours of 9: 30 am and 8: 30 pm.
