Workshop on National Quality Policy kicks off
The West African Quality Control Programme-UNIDO founded by the European Union to support competitiveness and harmonization of Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) and Sanitary and Physio-Sanitary (SPS) measures is organising a two day workshop on National Quality Policy to be held on the 29th and 30th July 2010 respectively at the Mamba Point, Wilberforce in Freetown.
The object of the workshop includes among other things the challenges faced in the establishment of National Quality system, the development of National Quality Control policy, exposure of National stakeholders to International Good Practices and sharing of lessons learnt from the workshop with the various sectors in the country.
In view of this, a press conference for the experts and UNIDO staff took place Wednesday 28th July 2010 at the conference hall of the Ministry of Information and Communication, Youyi Building-Freetown.
