Police Revive Bonthe Partnership
The Bonthe District local police partnership which was halted, has been revived and is now working efficiently, Local Unit Commander Assistant Superintendent of Police Samuel Ben Vandi has informed Sierra Express Media in a brief interview.
According to the Bonthe police commander, the decision to revive the partnership is to bring together all stakeholders in the community in decision making. He further explained that the partnership had been established in the District but said under the past LUC, it had been halted because of lack of support from the community.
Speaking in a confident mood, ASP Vandi said under his command, the partnership has been revived and said he is confident it will pay positive dividend for the community.
“As soon as I took up my responsibility as the Local Unit Commander in Bonthe, I realized the need to redress a lot of problems which had been affecting the entire district but realized that even as LOC of the District, I cannot take up the challenge without the help and support of the entire community,” he said.
