“No Harassment” Model Principal Debunks!

Principal of the Junior Session of Government Model Secondary School, Olu Beury has replied to a story published on Sierra Express reporting incidences of sexual harassment at the school involving some teachers who ask sex for grades from female pupils.

Mr. Beury in a meeting with the Editor of Sierra Express pointed out that “at no one time had there been reports of harassment from teachers to pupils in the school, and we have no teacher on our register by the name of Abdul Sesay as was said in the story”.

The Principal said the report was geared at tarnishing the good name of the school and its authorities, to which we owe great exception, he said. He noted that “people would want to see the good name of this reputable school and its authorities put to the shreds but we are determined to live above such things and maintain the standards we stand in the school”.

Francis Gegbai, Vice Principal of the School expressed his shock at the development saying that other media houses had caught hold of the story and have since been questioning the school as to the truthfulness of the report. “We want the entire public to know that there’s no such thing going on in the school and that we will do everything possible that such never occur here” he added.
