Bhai Dhawa Sesay to revamp Salone entertainment industry

Dhawa Technology Group has teamed up with SLBC to stage a dancing competition called U SABI DANCE; tailored to revamp the entertainment industry in the country.

In an exclusive interview with Bhai Dhawa Sesay, the brain behind the programme, he stated that the competition will possibly start in mid September and will last unto December with competitors aged 16 years and above as preferred choice in the upcoming exhilarating competition that is to rock the country’s entertainment industry.

Competitors aged 18 and above he said would not require parental approval before admission but that anyone under 18 will have to come along with parental approval to take part in the programme.

Mr Sesay noted that the dancing competition will help redefine the meaning of dance in the eyes of all in the country and hence enable them to understand that dancing is not a useless vocation. He further noted that this will be the first of it kind dancing competition in the country with exhibiting professional skills. He also added that the programme is also the first reality show the SLBC as a corporation will stage to help promote and showcase the talent Sierra Leoneans in dancing.

He noted that he personally believes that the competition will prove that one can motivate individual talents in the country which he added contributes in no small way in the growth and development of the nation.  He said “We will use all the mobile phone networks to enable people to vote and eliminate less favorite competitors, leading to the final winner in September this year.” Bhai Dawa Sesay revealed that categories in the competition include gumbay, bubu, ragge dance, Hip hop style, Michael Jackson, and that the show will be held at the Lagunda Entertainment complex.
