The saga of an Electric Fish

The saga of an Electric Fish

When she was first selected the head of electric Sierra Leone
almost all Sierra Leone was as dark as a graveyard in a third world country
She electrified us with cables that cost thirty two million dollars

The lights began to brighten the city and the lives of the people
that have known a dark city for a long time until
the Bumbuna-conscious  benefactor of hers mounted the seat of power

He promised electrified Sierra Leone because it is good for business atmosphere
And his aim is to rule Mama Salone nation like a business man
She and her benefactor blew their own trumpet for the fruitful
commissioning of the Bumbuna hydro-electricity

But like the cat that jumped over the moon,
the Bumbuna jumped over Bumbuna City
and landed in Western Freetown and some parts of Eastern Freetown

Whilst the lights lit the dark city and our lives
new light was shed on the life of the electric woman
as people began to doubt the way the 32 million dollars was electrocuted

In every hooks and nooks of Salone she became a seemingly
hero who jettisoned such a large sum of money in the LITTLE SCARCIES
But her boss never heeded the clamour of condemnation of his disciple
Instead he made her the head of all fishes in Sierra Leone

She fattened the fishes in the water with draconian
regulations that did not please the fishers in the business

She became an electric fish in the eyes of the world
because she  made a lot of money for her boss
Something which was blindly and ‘bluntly’
projected by a section of the media

She knew little that a watch dog was watching her steps and missteps
and maybe sidesteps
The watch-dog had reasonable suspicion that her books were not in order
which warranted an indictment

Her benefactor relieved her of her duties
But she remained innocent until she is proved guilty

Is she going to be found guilty or will she be APCified?
