Judicial & Executive Conspiracy SLPP Imposes Abass Bundu as Speaker
What is happening in Sierra Leone over the election of the Speaker of the House of Parliament which has caused a bloody confrontation between the ruling Sierra Leone People;s Party (SLPP) and the main opposition, All Peoples Congress (APC) is revered as an absolute judicial and executive conspiracy because such a menace has never occurred in our political history.
The SLPP which is the minority in Parliament stage managed to impose Dr. Abass Bundu as Speaker of the House of Parliament instead of lobbying the APC, the National Grand Coalition (NGC) and the Coalition for Change (C4C) to vote in their favour, they decided to remove the APC MP’s through unlawful petition and injunction.
The decision of the SLPP hierarchies to file an injunction against the elected APC MP’s does not go down well with not only the APC politicians but the entire country and also Sierra Leoneans in the Diaspora.
In a voice mail, the Leader and Chairman of the one of the opposition parties, Mohamed Kamarainba Mansaray condemned the action of President Bio’s Government in the election of the Speaker because according to him, when Obama was President of the United States of America (USA) as a Democrat, the Republican has the Speaker in the House of Parliament but he never attempted to disadvantage members of the opposition but rather worked with them to enhance national development.
But in Sierra Leone, Kamarainba said it is a different and shocking case as members of the ruling party are too desperate to have on their side, the Speaker of the House of Parliament at all cost (Paopa) without even the consent of the majority of Sierra Leoneans. Is that not a constitutional violation?, concerned citizens queried and debunked the bogus statement that the SLPP is democratic when citizens are suffering under their tyrannical regime.
Sierra Leoneans are very much concerned about their peaceful co-existent for the fact that they are not working under any past or present Government but depend on their hand to mouth for their livelihood. So please Mr. President allow peace to reign for our people to continue exercising their liberty and enfranchisement but not tyranny.
