4 political parties declare support to APC

Four political parties on Monday  19th March 2018, declared their support to the ruling All Peoples Congress (APC) party – the Citizens Democratic Party (CDP), the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Peace and Liberation Party (PLP)and the Revolutionary United  Front Party (RUFP) at the Miatta Conference Center, Brookfield, Freetown.
National Chairman for Citizens  Democratic  Party (CDP), Gibril Thullah, welcomed Sierra Leoneans for their tremendous support coming out in their numbers to vote for them as political parties in the just concluded multi-tier election on 7th March 2018.
Mr. Thullah expressed his  appreciation even though they have not been holding consultations with the two major political parties as they are very much cancer and honest which they as the CDP, the PDP, the PLP and the RUFP would like to make the following declaration that the Leadership of the CDP dissociate itself from a letter signed by their former Presidential candidate, Alhaji  Musa Tarawally declaring his singular support for the SLPP and not as the majority adding that, after a series of consultations with the Leadership of the party across the country, we have hereby come to the conclusion that the only party that can make and continue the national development agenda is the All Peoples Congress (APC) party.
In view of this, we hereby collectively declare the unequivocal and sturdy support for the Presidential candidate of the All Peoples Congress (APC) party Dr. Samura Mathew Wilson Kamara during the runoff Presidential election scheduled for March 27th, 2018′.
Representatives from RUFP, PLP Nabieu Musa Kamara, and PDP Prince Coker, and Gibril Thullah, all debunked the Presidential candidate Musa Tarawally  not aligning with him as betrayal in their initial engagement.
They added that, as part of their past experience they deemed it comfortable to work and vote Dr. Samura Mathew Wilson Kamara to State House in the runoff rather than Julius Maada Bio of the SLPP.
