ACC raids capture more Traffic Wardens
Report reaching this medium as at press time states that the Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) has intercepted T.W Bobor Deen Bangura and TW 128 Dauda for accepting a bribe of Two Million Leones to facilitate the removal of a vehicle that was clamped at Kissy Road in the east.
Owner of vehicle with registration number AGI 462 Mohamed Kuyateh and his vehicle driver Abdul Barrie together with T.W128 Dauda are currently held in investigations while T.W Bobor Deen Bangura is said to be on the run.
It was further reported that during the process of the arrest, the team from ACC met with stiff resistance from both Traffic Wardens and in the ensuing scuffle OSD personnel Alusine Massaquoi was fatally injured.
ACC Boss Joseph FitzGerald Kamara acknowledged the strides made by his team and further entreated members of the media to be key players at all times in the fight to eradicate corruption in our society. He reaffirmed that there will be no sacred cows in the fight against corruption.
