London Mining resumes operations after community protest

Lunsar- (20 June 2013) – London Mining management team statement:

Following a protest today at London Mining’s Marampa site, management announce that operations fully resumed from 16:00 hours.

Management would like to thank all Government officials, dignitaries and the Sierra Leone Police for their prompt action to help resolve this matter.

London Mining has a well-established policy of stakeholder engagement and actively promotes local employment and local supply agreements wherever possible.
