Knowing the capability of Ebun Williams and Desmond Johnson, the two closest friends of Mohamed Jalloh, alongside with many contributors to the remarkable surprise party became an instant “talk of the town.” Everyone was abuzz about what this evening would entail. Indeed, the event got started on a spectacular note with the surprised Mohamed Jalloh who was stunned to see family, friends and well wishers all waiting to celebrate with him. What an exciting moment it was for Mohamed Jalloh!
Driven by his high school soccer hero, Ishmael Dyfan, Jalloh entered soccer clubs early in his life and successfully accomplished some of his hero’s dynamic features. He debuted professional soccer in 1979 and played until 1990 before he migrated to the United States. During his illustrious career, he influenced a multitude of soccer fans including some of his professional friends like Alhaji Sesay, Idrisa Police Kamara, and even his trainer, Diebo Sherrington. Every soccer fan during his illustrious playing career admired his brilliance in doing the impossibility of saving possible goals in his defense.
The most fascinating part of Jalloh’s 50th birthday celebration is the fact that his birthday fell on the first day of the year, and as one of the speakers mentioned, he has also reached the mid-point of his life. All of his friends, birthday wishers anticipated that the super star will once again get another surprise birthday when he attains a hundred years! Food and drinks were abundant to satisfy the hundreds of people that came to grace the event.
