Orange Sierra Leone Engages Media on 2021 Strategic Plans
On Thursday 17th December 2020, the leading mobile company in the country, Orange Sierra Leone has concluded fruitful engagement with media institutions on the company’s strategic plans,2021.
The productive media engagement which was held at the company’s headquarters office in Freetown attracted several media entities and senior staff of Orange who presented another prestigious award won by the company recently.
The engagement was to highlight the various challenges and successes in the Telecommunication industry, especially in the area of quality service delivery and affordable network.
The Head of Media and Public Relation, Madam Annie Wonnie Katta updated participants on the company’s strategic plans for 2021.
Madam Katta assures the gathering that Orange Sierra Leone will continued to partner with the media and other institutions in a bid to transform or improve communication to another level for Sierra Leoneans.
A senior staff, Madam Mabel who happens to be a moderator of the event, commended the media for supporting Orange Sierra Leone and she vowed to always respect the role of media in nation building.
Going furthered, issues of new promos and products were also discussed during the media update whilst journalists also commended the company for its outstanding performance and dedication towards promoting national development.
However, a session on Questions and Answers was organized by Madam Mabel for journalists to ask or give recommendations on the way forward with regards network error and other Orange financial transactions like EDSA for the online purchase of electricity.
During the session, senior Journalists also urged the management and staff of Orange to improve on the network system so that millions of subscribers would continue to enjoy quality and affordable network.
In conclusion, a family photo was also taken at the end of the engagement to showcase the recent award won by Orange Sierra Leone for its tremendous contribution in line with government agenda.
