Paopa Engages In Diversionary Tactics After A Useless One Year In Power
A year in power with nothing positive to write home about, It’s time to redefine the “Paopa” New Direction by paying attention to their promised bread and butter campaigned and deliberately refuse to consume their diversionary “Special Forensic Audit Report” tactics. To cut straight to it, what they called “Special Forensic Audit Report” was a direct cut and paste report from the Auditor’s General Report which accurately covered most of the things they presented in the conference. Surely we aren’t fools to keep on consuming their well confused corruption propaganda diet which continue to expose their very incompetent and ineffective leadership skills with no sense to address basic services and social protection for the suffering majority.
When will the Bio administration understand that leadership is not a choice basket where the leader can choose to solve one problem and leave the rest? Bio was aware of all the problems in Sierra Leone before he aspired for the SLPP Presidential flagship. Sierra Leoneans never begged Bio to be our President. So he is not doing us favour in any sense of the word. Tackling corruption is good, but must the majority not feed their homes again because the Bio administration is allegedly fighting corruption?
Does this seem politically odd? Why possibly put your original business tactics that guaranteed you victory out of business by making one of your prevailing trend goods (bread and butter for the majority) no longer in use? The answer may not be so stealthy again. If we do not ponder on the guiding edge and dare old negative ideals, our competition will eat our lunch. Eventually, very few people will alter the rules and put us back to zero. The contest of change is ongoing and endless. Nationals like being impressed with quality leadership skills that can guarantee sustainable economic growth for the majority not just for the selected few.
Taking a prudent multi-dimensional view of the alleged over one billion corruption issue by the previous government before making a categorical decision. Even then, one must make room for the uncertainties of the future, which may well solicit alterations or amendments. I decided to use the Define Measures Analyze Improve Control (DMAIC) method. The value in using a rational problem-solving tool belt like DMAIC is that it helps keep teams focused and aligned as we proceed through planned change. Without this form of discipline, people can quickly become over- whelmed, jump to conclusions, give up, or fall out of line. Some people will fast forward to the improve phase with ideas about how to solve the problem without any basis in fact and analysis of the problem itself. Others might be trapped in the weeds, digging into data that doesn’t matter. Still others might be idled with “analysis paralysis,” overcomplicating the problem. Without a disciplined problem-solving structure, energy is quickly lost, because team energy is wasted on one another rather than on the mission at hand. Misalignment wears people down.
I noticed during the conference the Finance Minister and Financial Secretary never actually discusses issues head-on or provided constructive input, generally avoiding citation of references or credentials. Rather, they merely imply this, that, and the other. Virtually everything about their presentation implies their authority and expert knowledge in the matter without any further justification for credibility.
Now it’s getting clear that this Bio administration tend to surface suddenly and somewhat coincidentally with a new controversial topic in tackling corruption to paper over their cracks moving from Commission of Inquiry to “Special Forensic Audit”. They likewise tend to vanish once the topic is no longer of general concern like the Commission of Inquiry.
They tend to operate in self-congratulatory and complementary packs or teams. Of course, this keep on happening in any public forum, but there is likely an ongoing pattern of frequent exchanges of this sort where professionals are now deeply involved. Sometimes one of the players will infiltrate the main opposition camp to become a source for straw man or other tactics designed attempting to dilute the frustration of the suffering majority.
There is also a tendency to make mistakes which betray their true self/motives. This may stem from not really knowing their manifesto, or it may be somewhat ‘freudian’, so to speak, in that perhaps they really root for the side of truth deep within them that satisfy their desires at the expense of tax payers. I have noted that often, they will simply cite contradictory information which neutralizes itself and the author.
