Mercury International Supports CVCW
Concern for Vulnerable Children and Women (CVCW), with Support from Mercury International Company SL Ltd, on Saturday 17th November 2018, held a charitable event, targeting school going children at Grace of God Mission International Jesus Home, 37 Pademba Road in Freetown.
The heart touching event, organized by CVCW, a local non-governmental organization registered with the Ministry of Social Welfare Gender and Children Affairs, was aimed at distributing learning materials to vulnerable school going children.
This according to the organizers is geared toward enhancing quality education for less privileged children in primary schools, which will help build a solid academic foundation for them.
Speaking to this medium, the Executive Director Concern for Vulnerable Children, Pastor Mrs. Sitta Foday Musa Conteh said, the gesture received from Mercury International Company SL Ltd was used to buy learning materials worth millions of Leones which was distributed to the targeted beneficiaries.
Some of the materials concluded notebooks, pens, pencils, bags, shoes etc. Pastor Sitta further emphasized the secret behind their determination and sustainability is the unwavering support they have enjoyed as an organization for the past years from the country’s undisputed leading sports betting and lottery company Mercury International.
Mercury International Company SL Ltd has been a backbone to CVCW and its charitable activities since the establishment of the organization. A representative from Mercury International, Franklyn Campbell also helped in the distribution of the learning materials which attracted over 200 beneficiaries.
Pastor Mrs. Sitta Foday Musa Conteh also thanked Mercury International for answering their call at such a crucial time in need, as it helped to make the ceremony a reality.
She emphasized on the contribution from Mercury International; placing them prominent amongst the key partners of national development in the country, and that the (CVCW) will continue to count on them for assistance whenever the need arises.
