Lawyer M S Marrah was cross-examining the lone Pathologist in the country in the matter involving six accused that were alleged to have murdered one Albert Madison Bio, a student of Fourah Bay College (FBC), University of Sierra Leone (USL). According to Dr. Owizz Koroma, as he is fondly called, he has been a Pathologist for over thirty years and that he reads day in, day out to be keep abreast with development in his profession in this technological world, noting that a naked-eyed pathologist is the best practice when performing an autopsy.
He disclosed that the investigating officer, scene of crime officer and siblings of the deceased were present on 18th July, 2018 when the postmortem examination was done, adding that the result of the autopsy showed that the main cause of death of the deceased was manual strangulation, and that no wound and finger print was seen on the deceased.
Dr. Owizz Koroma furthered that findings of the report also showed that there was no abnormality on the front, back or head but swelling on the neck, damage on the brain and also blood frost on the upper limps of the deceased.
Dr. Owizz Koroma however suggested that if the report is challenged, there is space for a second report, noting that the report was neither bias nor screwed. The matter comes up again on Thursday 29th November, this year.
