Dr .Samura Kamara Assures Sierra Leoneans of Experienced Leadership

The God chosen standard flag bearer of the ruling All Peoples Congress (APC), Dr. Samura Mathew Wilson Kamara (in photo) has reassured Sierra Leoneans of Experienced Leadership with Democratic principles and institutional advancement if elected ahead of the forthcoming general elections on March 7th 2018.

The experienced economist made the assurance at the Miatta conference center during the launching ceremony of the great APC Forward Manifesto documents on the 5th of February 2018.

According to the former International Monetary Fund (IMF) Expert,  his vision is to give experienced leadership for the general benefit of the nation noting the fact that people appreciated his appointment as the Standard Presidential Candidate for APC in the forthcoming elections with his running mate, Hon.Chernor Maju Bah and the only female candidate for the Mayoral position of the Western Area Urban District which is the Freetown City Council (FCC), Madam Yvonne Akie Sawyer.

Dr.Samura Kamara noted that his leadership excellence was felt throughout the entire Africa continent and even the Global community in various capacities adding that he had worked tirelessly for the growth of Sierra Leone since the days of the National Provincial Ruling Council (NPRC) Government, the Sierra Leone Peoples Party (SLPP) and finally the APC party under the directives of President Ernest Bai Koroma from 2007 to 2018.

The Experienced Technocrat said, he has worked with credible international institutions like the Common Wealth of Nations, International Monetary Fund (IMF), Africa Development Bank (ADB) and the World Bank in a bid to enhance protection of its funds in the military ruled in Sierra Leone.

The APC Presidential Hopeful continued that he has served as Financial Secretary of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Bank Governor, Minister of Finance and also as Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in the APC administration of his Excellency, Dr.Ernest Bai Koroma whom he describe as the father of Democracy across the African Continent.

He however encouraged Sierra Leoneans to exercise patient and courage ahead of the forthcoming campaigns because according to him, the APC party is a united family with tangible evidence of political tolerance and non-violence adding that election is not a fight but a right for any dignified citizen.

He appealed to other Presidential Candidates to work within the code and conducts of the Electoral Management Bodies (EMBs) and International electoral partners which includes the International Criminal Court (ICC), European Union Observers (EUO), Africa Union (AU), and ECOWAS among others to strengthen the peace, unity and freedom of the state.

He assures Citizens that, if elected as the next president of the Republic of Sierra Leone after the polls on March, he will diversify the economy with new innovation to continue where president Koroma stops with the agenda for prosperity adding that he will also increase electricity supply across the country which he said is the main engine for revenue mobilization.

He said with the improvement of the energy sector and infrastructure, a lot of other important sectors will be benefiting greatly because according to him, electricity can improved education, health, fisheries, trade industry, tourism, social service, agriculture ,ICT among other significant sectors.

He appealed to Sierra Leoneans to vote for the APC during the polls for continuity of the TOLONGBO Movement initiated by President Koroma to sustain and maintain national legacies adding that he will encourage colleague contestants to take the race as a friendly contest where only a winner will be announced at the end of the exercise.
