John Sisay says he paid all salaries for teachers

John Bonoh Sisay who recently resigned from Sierra Rutile likened himself to the President-elect of the United States of America-Donald J. Trump in terms of wealth.
After donating Fifty Million Leones to the women’s organizations in Koidu, Mr. Sisay said, “I will soon be the richest President of Sierra Leone.” He said he is the best choice and therefore called on the people of Kono to demand huge money from all aspiring candidates and see if they will provide it to demonstrate their financial capability.
“If any candidate comes to preach about God to ask for leadership, they should go to the church or mosques,” boasted JBS, adding that if they are sincerely interested for the current leadership, they should be wealthy like my humble self.”
The Chairman of the Join 4 Betteh Salone movement thanked Mr. Sisay for paying the salary for all teachers to lessen the burden on the Government. He said their leader did such gesture to help strength the educational sector and continue to motivate the teachers to repose confidence in the APC led-government.
The Women’s leader for the SLPP queried, why should the Government allow an aspiring candidate of the same political party take the responsibility of the Government to pay salaries of teachers? Madam Isatu Turay said it is unfortunate that John Sisay is using this message to campaign for the flagbearership. She rebuked the Government and said this is an undue influence to give JBS an edge over his competitors.
Despite the numerous warnings by the party’s secretariat banning all political campaigns, John Sisay, Joseph F. Kamara, Alimamy Petito Koroma and Hon. Bundu have made public declarations and are currently campaigning across the country undermining the dictates and principles of the APC Party.
