Obituary – Omu Barrie, Freetown
The death is reported of Omu Barrie on July 29th, 2016 at her residence at Lumley in Freetown. Ms. Omu Barrie has been fighting with cancer for two years, but passed away peacefully after three weeks of being discharged from the hospital, Princess Christian Maternity Hospital.
Ms. Barrie is survived by her mother, Haja Marie Barrie who is currently in Texas, USA. Her sisters, including Omu Knayako, Janeba Jalloh. Brothers, Umaru Barrie all of Texas, USA. Mr. Abibu Barrie, Sheku Barrie and many others are in Freetown and Waterloo.
Other relatives including her uncles, Mr. Sheku Sesay and Sanpha Sesay, USA. Mr. Abdul Rahman Sesay and Mr. Desmond Sesay both of United Kingdom.
Omu will be remembered by her aunts, Jariatu Sesay, Hawa Sesay and Fatmata Sesay, all in Freetown.
The fortieth day ceremony will be announced in a couple of days.
