President attends Vincent Kanu’s funeral

President Dr Ernest Bai Koroma attended the Civic Funeral Services of Dr Vincent Lamina Kanu at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Cathedral ,Teko Road, Makeni City, Bombali district.

Dr. Kanu, 73, passed on Monday 11th January, 2016.

The President was accompanied by First Lady Mrs. Sia Koroma, their two daughters Alice and Dankay, Vice President Victor Foh and his wife Mrs. Jonta Foh, the ‘Senior Vice President’ Solomon Berewa, cabinet ministers, and senior government officials.

Members of the opposition Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP), including John O Benjamin, Julius Maada Bio, Dr Prince Harding, Alhpa Timbo, as well as ruling party (APC) execs were all in attendance.

Interment to take place at the Wusum Hotel Gardens, Teko Road, Makeni.
