Rogie, Patricia, Ebenezer Calenda, Oneke Macauley, Big Faiah, Salia Koroma among others pledged their life time to promoting the true image of the Sierra Leonean culture through music except General Sfano who was very known through a cultural song as Banyalo meaning ‘Don’t leave me’ but who lately set himself to portray the true image of the late American born king of pop, Michael Joseph Jackson.
The Christmas Bonanza musical superstar assured that the song ‘Muhuemanga’ sends a signal that all cultural musicians are set to fade away all foreign style of music by building a rebirth of the Sierra Leonean cultural style of music and singing, adding that they will work closely with the Ministry of Tourism and Culture to ensure that their dream is realized in the country.

Lama Sharkah was born and bred in Sierra Leone and attended the Roman Catholic Primary School in Kabala, later the Ahmadiyya Muslim Seconday School in Kenema where he said he was inspired by the Jamaican Ragga singer, Shaggy, and decided to perform his songs and later went into music and produced several hit sons like Christmas Bonanza, Kawula (a temne word meaning ‘deep forest’).
