Bintumani Hotel Denies Murder
Authorities at one of the best hotels in the country, the Bintumani Hotel, denied a case of alleged murder at the hotel following a social media report about an alleged murder incidence at the hotel which now under rehabilitation.
At a short press conference to explain their own side of the story, the management of the hotel presented video evidence for journalists to see exactly what transpired on that day. Video evidences from the CCTV at the hotel shows that there was no contact between the deceased, who is a raw meat supplier to the hotel, and any other staff of the hotel. Contrary to the rumors and report that the victim was killed by a Chinese worker of the institution, the incidence took place on Monday evening and according to the evidence, the deceased Mohamed Alpha Jalloh, of Fourah Bay road, left the hotel premises very healthy after receiving a cheque payment from the hotel purchasing Manager, only to be seen returning after 15 minutes and later died.
The evidence has been handed over to the Criminal Investigation Department who are presently investigating a case of alleged murder, as the hotel management awaits the full postmortem result.
Speaking at the press conference, the Deputy Manger at the hotel Madam Dunstana Thompson expressed sympathy to the family of the deceased, and urged all in the country to wait for the full investigation report before making a conclusion.
The hotels Human Resources Manager, Micheal Yeng said that they cannot do such a thing, as the deceased was a friend of Chinese and has been supplying meat at the hotel for over 10 years. He noted that they were informed about the death on the following morning and were very shocked about the news. He urged others to rectify their news before circulating it.
