Vice President Foh to receive Doctorate Award
Vice President of the Republic of Sierra Leone Ambassador Victor Bockarie Foh has arrived in Monrovia via Kenya airways to receive an Honorable Doctorate Award from the Cuttington University in Liberia and also to act as distinguished guest speaker at the university graduation ceremony slated for Saturday 26th September at the university grounds in Gbanga five miles from the capital.
The Vice President who arrived on Tuesday 22nd September with governmental officers and family members was received at the Roberts International Airport by the Vice President of Liberia Joseph Boakai, Sierra Leone Ambassador to Liberia Brima Archa Kamara, Nigeria High Commissioner, Guinean Ambassador and cross section of the Sierra Leonean community in Liberia and the APC Monrovia branch.
Prior to Saturday’s Doctorate award Vice President Foh will meet with Liberian Vice President at his capitol building office and some members of the diplomatic and consular corps where he still reassures his compatriots of his country’s bilateral tie which will always be strong, adding that Sierra Leone is making significant progress in defeating the fight against Ebola. With total commitment we all can achieve our goal, he said.
Meanwhile Vice President Foh will be meeting with the entire Sierra Leone community on Sunday 27th September at the Sierra Leone Embassy in Monrovia at Old Road, Congo, to give them an overview of developments taking place back home.
