My Husband Loves Our Country … Mrs. Fatima Maada Bio

My husband loves our country; support him to start rebuilding our country says Mrs. Fatima Maada Bio

The beautiful and adorable Mrs. Fatima Maada Bio (FMB) spoke from her heart on Saturday, 27th June 2015 at the Globe Venue in London when thanking Sierra Leoneans who graced the outreach event organised by the Julius Maada Bio Support Group, United Kingdom.

Speaking with her usual humility she described her husband as the most loving and caring man who loves his country so much. Mrs Fatima Maada Bio told the audience that his husband has always seen national service as a duty and that she is proud of his contributions towards peace and democracy.

Sticking with Rtd. Brig. Julius Maada Bio’s message of unity, patriotism and hardwork to rebuild Sierra Leone, Mrs. Fatima Bio appealed to all Sierra Leoneans to put aside the politics and support his husband to bring change to the lives of ordinary people. The soft-spoken Mrs. Fatima Maada Bio also stressed that Sierra Leone is a great nation with the most amazing people in the world but that as citizens we all have to work together so that ordinary citizens can realise their potentials and aspirations.

To supporters of his husband, she expressed her profound gratitude for the amazing support over many years and the years yet to come. She went on “Words cannot express how grateful my husband and I are for your wonderful support you continue to give my husband. You all believe in him because of his experience, leadership and his commitment to national service. My husband understands about the challenges in governance because he has been there before and he is ready to serve to rebuild our country to make us all proud of the land that we love”
