As schools and colleges reopen, security agencies should be alert

In as much we are advocating and at the same time creating awareness in connection with good health condition in the country. Especially in terms of good hygiene, including the provision of clean environment, enough clean drinking water and electricity supply to the diverse communities, schools, colleges and universities, we should not also forget to pay special attention in the security of the country. Because enemies of peace, progress and development are not sleeping to see that they succeed in executing their unpatriotic satanic diabolic plans at the expense of the poor Sierra Leoneans precious lives in the country.

Particularly those who see schools and colleges reopening as an opportunity to hatch their wicked unnationalistic plans in the name of demonstrating for Constitution issue that is in the hands of the Supreme Court. To disrupt the quiet and peaceful atmosphere that the poor masses are currently enjoying by recruiting their innocent fellow students whose poor parents are struggling in paying their fees to learn. You poor students, pay attention to your studies, you were at home for almost one year without going to school. Do NOT follow or join students who are benefiting from their POLITICAL MASTERS for recruiting you at the expense of your studies and valuable lives. If you do, you will regret it later because the security of the STATE is paramount. Think about your background and future before you leap.AK47 bullets do not know who is a so-called constitution protester or Boko Haram-Kamajor rebel and who is not.

As I said both good health sanitation and security are twin partners because, if there is no proper security modalities in the country, one will surely finds it difficult if not impossible to enjoy his or her clean environment, clean drink drinking water or electricity wherever he may find himself within the country, because a healthy body needs peace of mind. Therefore, both issues are very important for the nation’s survival, particularly for the lives of our poor and powerless masses. In view of that, we that love peace, progress and development in the country we should stand up to defend our poor innocent people in our beloved motherland, Sierra Leone. Let us say NO to violence or war.

All over the world, state security and its citizens is always paramount, especially for any responsible government. Therefore, APC as a responsible government has the responsibility to protect its citizens and the state in any shape or form. Just like how the Yemen government is currently defending its state and citizens. It also asked the international community for support. However, the security of any country or state is not only in the hands of the government in power. It’s a collective effort by all citizens of such country, especially true patriotic and honest nationalist peace, progress and development oriented citizens. For the fact that without peace, there is no progress or development.

When one feels safe, he or she will think about progress and development in his or her country. Or will start to do things that will develop or improve his or her life in such a country, including going to schools, colleges, universities, engaging in business, going to offices or farms. But when individuals feel unsafe or threating within their environments or country they will always occupied with panic, fear, anxiety and depression that will damping or kill their aspiration or good dreams.

For instance, when there was a civil war in 1991, in the country, there were no normal schools, colleges and universities’ functions or I will even say there were no schools, colleges and universities for over 10 years neither there was clean environment or clean drinking water to enjoy life.no chance for that because of the insecurity of the country at that time. When there was an outbreak of a ghost disease in the country called Ebola in March 2014, on to 13th April 2015, there were no schools, colleges, universities and no normal business or farming activities. In fact no free movement for individual or group. Why because the people’s lives were under threat. Therefore, they had NO peace of mind to enjoy the beauty of nature in their environments by then.

Their minds were been occupied with negative thinking about their futures. As long as human beings feel their lives are not safe, instantly they lack courage to do anything that they used to do to satisfy their wellbeing. Even in terms of romantic love, there will be no room for appetite. That is why the security of the country is in the hands of every individual peace and progress loving Sierra Leonean both in and out of the country. It is not only in the hands of government or the state security apparatus. The security of the country should be every body’s business because of our past sad and bitter Forday Sankoh and others RUF uncivilized brutal rebel war experience.

Therefore, every Sierra Leonean should or must be a watch dog for one another has its happening in civilized countries, including Australia. Every patriotic and nationalist Sierra Leonean should open his or her ears and eyes, to watch our enemies of peace, progress and development in and out of the country and listen to their comments. Let us don’t allow any devil-incarnation Sierra Leoneans, especially the hungry and thirsty for political power Sierra Leonean politicians in the country to send us back to the bush to go and compete with animals in eating wild bush fruits or rubbish. Or to go to other people’s country to seek refuge or asylum with harassment and molestation in such countries, as the case may be in South Africa right now.

Why Sierra Leoneans are deliberately refusing to learn good lesson from our post war experience and Ebola current suffering? Foreigners are currently facing molestations, harassments and their properties were looted in South Africa. So Sierra Leoneans, if you bent on destroying your country, you think will find safe heaven to other people’s country you are just dreaming. Ask Sierra Leoneans who are presently languishing in Libya and other Africa countries and Asia. While others lives are perishing in the Mediterranean Sea. Even in Europe and America, there are Sierra Leoneans who are currently suffering there. Australians presently are NOT accepting boat asylum seekers and it is not also easy to accept refugees from other countries.

If you allow yourself to be fooled again by unpatriotic Sierra Leoneans, particularly the corrupt, selfish and greedy politicians as they did during Foday Sankoh and his aides RUF rebel war, you are doing yourself more harm than good because they will run to Guinea, Liberia, Ghana, Europe, America or Australia because they have money and passports which you don’t have. And while you will be killing one another, their own children are in Europe and America going to school. If you think I am a story teller just reflect your mind when AFRC-Johnny Paul Koroma junta booted out SLPP government in 1997. ALL of them ran to Guinea for safety, living the poor innocent and defenceless masses in the hands of the rebels and ECOMOG to determine their destiny. They sent their children and family abroad to go and enjoy western education while the poor Sierra Leoneans children were living in dustbins searching for survival.

They were in Guinea TELLING ECOMOG TO KILL US IN THE COUNTRY, WE ARE REBELS. Whiles they were in their luxurious hotels and houses in Guinea enjoying. In their returned to power in the country many precious Sierra Leoneans’ lives perished in their hands. Ask the family of the 24 soldiers, late journalist Yansaneh, Paul Kamara, For De People newspaper and others they will tell you more about SLPP inhumane wickedness in the country.

Therefore, I would like to suggest the following security measures if they were not yet been put in place for the safety of our people, especially our schools, colleges and universities going pupils and students:

Every Sierra Leoneans should be watching the movement of others, especially subversive movements in and out of the country.
He or she should always ready and willing to pass on genuine information to the appropriate authorities, particularly in connection with security threats in the country
Government should provide free security phone call numbers
NO information should be underrated by any means, especially by the authorities concerned, as its happing in western countries, like Australia
The Boko Haram-Kamajor and Al-Shabaab rebel threats should NOT be taken lightly so that history will not repeat itself in the country
The police check points should NOT ONLY be for the poor, powerless and defenceless commercial drivers, okada riders and business men and women for palm greasing, at the expense of the nation’s safety, but for all Sierra Leoneans and others.
Government should try to bring back security police dogs
Above all, LET all schools, colleges, universities, business places, government buildings etc., have well-armed security personnel to avoid Kenya university calamity in the country. Let the security apparatus always is on top of situation in the country. Desperate power hungry men and women will do anything within their reach to fulfill their diabolic dream if given chance.
