Leone Dock GM Demoted to Accountant
Reliable sources have intimated to this press that the General Manager Leone Dock Company Mr. Tapsiru Njai has been demoted to Accountant/Financial Controller of the company.
Sources alleged that the former General Manager Mr. Njai was deposed last month as a result of mass misappropriation of Company funds.
According to investigations Mr. Njai has spearheaded a lot of malpractices which have suffered a lot of Junior Staff of the Company including the illegal collection of Casual Workers salaries for many months.
Sources further revealed that when the affected workers approached him with a pay slip to understand as casuals why their names have appeared on the pay roll for many months whilst they remain as casuals? Mr. Njai replied that it was a mistake made by the management to include their names in the pay roll and pay slip.
The frequent question now asked by the affected workers is how on earth a person with his five senses kept on mistaking for nearly a year without recollecting? But does not forget to sign their vouchers and collect their salaries for his personal coffers.
When contacted by the press to clear the allegation levied against him, Njai said the matter is between him and workers and it has nothing to do with the press. He therefore declined to make any response.
