Sierra Leone Embassy in Berlin gets more medical supplies for Ebola

Following the first consignment of medical items received last Thursday, the Embassy of Sierra Leone in the Federal Republic of Germany has received further medical supplies from its Honorary Consulate in the German capital of Munich, Bavaria. A 40ft container with medical items received so far will be released for shipment this week.

Ambassador Stevens, HoC Al-Hassan K. Kondeh and the entire staff of the Sierra Leone Embassy in Berlin are working relentlessly to collect medical materials and resources to help combat the Ebola Virus Disease in Sierra Leone

The previous medical items received were from Bad Wildungen, Germany through the influence of a dedicated and hard working Sierra Leonean Surgeon, Dr. Obai-Bureh Sulaiman. Dr. Sulaiman’s popularity in Bad Wildungen and beyond is by no means a surprise to many people across Germany. This is because he has been extremely instrumental during his work as a surgeon and such committed efforts have earned him laurels.

When Dr. Sulaiman received news that the Embassy of Sierra Leone is mobilising resources to help contain the deadly virus back home, he used his personal contacts and engaged the people of Bad Wildungen to solicit their support towards the fight against Ebola in Sierra Leone.

Responding to his request, a central clinic in Bad Wildungen, Werner-Wicker-Klinik has donated 14 pallets of assorted medical materials to the Embassy of Sierra Leone as part of their contribution to fight Ebola.
